CORRECTIONS TO THE EIA REGULATIONS AND LISTING NOTICES, 2014 UNDER THE NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT ACT (107/1998)

MacRobert wishes to draw your attention to the following important notice published on 16 July 2018

The Minister of Environmental Affairs has given notice under sections 24(2), 24(5) and 24D read with section 47A(1)(b) of the National Environmental Management Act, 1998 (Act No. 107 of 1998), to correct the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations And Listing Notices, published under Gazette Number: 38282 of 4 December 2014, as amended.
 
The Notice inter alia amends Regulations pertaining to: the disqualification of  environmental impact assessment practitioners (EAPs) and specialists, the submission and consideration of environmental impact assessment reports, environmental management programmes, and decisions regarding amendment applications.
